Programmes Offered
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
A multidisciplinary programme designed to develop analytical thinking, communication skills, and a strong understanding of the humanities and social sciences.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
A science programme that combines classroom learning with practical laboratory experience, preparing students for higher education and careers in scientific fields.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
Designed to provide students with knowledge in accounting, finance, taxation, business management, and entrepreneurship.
B.Sc. (Pulp & Paper Science)
A specialized undergraduate programme that combines scientific knowledge with industry-oriented learning in pulp and paper technology.
Eligibility Criteria
B.A. / B.Com.
Applicants must have passed the Two-Year Pre-University Course (PUC) conducted by the Karnataka Pre-University Education Board or any equivalent examination recognized by the University.
B.Sc.
Applicants must have passed the Two-Year PUC or an equivalent examination with English and at least three Science subjects.
B.Sc. (Pulp & Paper Science)
Applicants must have passed the Two-Year PUC or an equivalent examination with English and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admission also requires qualifying in the Entrance Test / Viva Voce conducted by the college.
Admission Procedure
Students seeking admission to the First Year should obtain the prescribed application form from the college office, complete it, and submit it with the required documents. Admissions to the Second and Third Year are based on the student’s performance in the previous year with the same subject combination.
Documents Required
Please submit the following documents along with your application:
- ✅ Marks Card of the qualifying examination
- ✅ Original Transfer Certificate (TC) / Leaving Certificate
- ✅ Two photocopies of the TC
- ✅ Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- ✅ Income Certificate (if applicable)
- ✅ Two recent passport-size colour photographs
- ✅ Eligibility Certificate (for students from other states)
Candidates claiming reservation or fee concessions should submit the required supporting certificates in the prescribed format.
