Dandeli Education Society (DES), Dandeli, was established and registered in 1963 with the vision of providing quality higher education to the people of the Uttar Kannada region. Since its inception, the Society has been committed to promoting academic excellence and empowering students through accessible and value-based education.

The Society manages Bangurnagar Arts, Science, Commerce and Applied Science College, one of the premier institutions in the region. Over the years, the institution has earned a reputation for academic excellence, disciplined learning, and holistic student development.

The management is committed to maintaining high standards in education by providing well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, a rich library, sports facilities, hostel accommodation, and other essential infrastructure. Continuous efforts are made to improve teaching, learning, research, and student support services.
