ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

B.A./B.Com. Degree Courses:1st Semester of the 6 : Semester

Candidates must have passed 2 year P.U.C. Examination of the Pre-University Education Board, Bangalore or an Equivalent Examination.

B.Sc. Degree Course:1st Semester of the 6 Semester

Candidates must have passed the 2 Year P.U.C. Examination of the Pre – University Education Board, Bangalore or an equivalent examination with English and at least 3 Science Subjects.

B.Sc. Degree Course (Pulp and Paper Science):

Candidates must have passed the 2 year P.U.C. Examination of the Pre – University Education Board, Bangalore or an equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They must also pass the Entrance / Viva Voce Tests conducted by the college. The date of Entrance test will be notified by the college.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admissions to 2nd and 3rd year of the Degree Courses are made on the basis of the performance of the previous year with the same combination of subjects.

Students seeking admission to I Year should apply in the prescribed forms available in college office and attach the following documents to their application.

1. Statement of marks of the immediate lower examination.
2. Transfer Certificate / Leaving Certificate from the Institution last attended, original and two Xerox copies.
3. Caste / Income Certificates in the prescribed forms in cases of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes and Fee Concession Claimants. (Three copies)
4. 2 copies of stamp size colour photos are to be enclosed along with the application form at the time of admission for the students taking admission for the first time.
5. Students from other states seeking admission should submit Eligibility Certificate from the Karnatak University at the time of admission.
